LIVES ON THE ROAD

This is a personal mini project I worked on in March 2020. I set out to document an abandoned section of a dual carriageway near Newport, South Wales. I initially thought I would be photographing urban decay but ending up discovering so much more. There were remnants of peoples lives, family photos, poems written in prison and other relics of anonymous past existences.
